UNSW Junior Hockey Club is the only junior hockey club in the Eastern Suburbs area with a home turf, providing competition for mixed boys and girls teams in the Sydney East Hockey Association. The competition starts in March playing on Friday nights or Saturday mornings depending on the draw (under 15 and Under 17 teams tend to have games on Friday night, with younger age groups primarily playing on Saturday morning).

All our experienced coaches are accredited and comply with formal Working with Children requirements.

Opportunities for representative development pathways are encouraged and nurtured, with a number of members achieving regional, state and Australian representation.

The club offers opportunities to get involved for all age groups with skills development training for competition. We have a great family environment with regular BBQs and social competition activities for children and their friends.

We are delighted to announce our success in applying for a $2,400 grant from Telstra. Telstra Kids funds the little things that can make a big difference to kids' lives, helping kids to play and learn. Our Telstra Kids grant will be used for Equipment - sticks, shin guards and mouth guards.
